ABOUT ASHTEC ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Ashtec Electrical Services is a family-owned electrical contracting business, founded in 2018. Based in Tamworth, we service the surrounding North West NSW region including Gunnedah, Narrabri, Boggabri, and rural areas.

We offer a diverse range of services across residential, commercial, industrial, and rural sectors, including:

  • Electrical installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs

  • Solar solutions – grid-connected, hybrid, and battery storage systems

  • Air conditioning – split and ducted systems, zone control

  • Security and surveillance – CCTV, access control, intercoms

  • Data and networking services

  • Test & tag, safety switch testing, and compliance

  • Commercial kitchen equipment servicing

THE ROLE

This is a 25-hour per week position based in our Tamworth office. Once trained, there is potential for a hybrid work arrangement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing phone and email enquiries

  • Scheduling jobs and coordinating with technicians

  • Maintaining accurate job records and data entry

  • Assisting with quoting and job tracking

  • Supporting basic accounts and invoicing (using Xero)

  • General office administration tasks

 

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • A confident communicator with a positive attitude

  • Comfortable using cloud-based software and digital tools

  • Able to work independently and support a small, busy team

Experience with Xero or AroFlo is highly regarded, but not essential — full training will be provided to the right candidate.
